I just remembered though, that I removed the lazyjacks from the old boat, for two reasons. One was that the halyard always got caught around the upper mountings of the lazy jacks, quite easy to fix though. The second reason was that the lazy jacks cut little holes in the sail while it was stowed away. The movement of the boat and the wind on the boom during a few months was enough. Ith that in mind I'm just not sure anymore. On the other hand... Taking the sail down in 25 knots of wind and a little chop is just about what I can handle. Lazy jacks would add to safety... Decisions, decisions, decisions...<br /><br />Snow here BTW. Where is spring? Global warming is just false marketing :(<br /><br />/HampusHampus & Lottahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16119863807566683926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5262455055189114287.post-59944779516452472972010-02-05T21:51:13.058-05:002010-02-05T21:51:13.058-05:00I tell ya Allan, you've got to do it. If I can get up to the boat this weekend, I'll get some pics and send them to you. Right now they're calling for lousy weather but if the sun pokes its nose out we'll get her out for a sail and I'll get some of the lazy jacks in action. Ellie will luv ya for it!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17130644586866843537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5262455055189114287.post-26795807491143390222010-02-03T10:05:29.728-05:002010-02-03T10:05:29.728-05:00You will have to let us know how the lazy jack ins...You will have to let us know how the lazy jack install goes. Was thinking of doing that as well in the spring - jimSkylarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12449591725660866911noreply@blogger.com
