The autohelm does work, we ran it through its paces at the yard. What sucks now is waiting for our launch in spring to put her through sea trials.
This is a compilation of our life around our Coronado 25 foot sailboat. Sometimes factual, sometimes humourous, always about sailing or the sailboat, or marinas and yacht clubs. There will be a nautical theme for sure.

Sounds like a place we have here in St. Augustine FL, Sailors Exchange. They have anything a sailor could want for penny's on the dollar. Seems like you did very well. You will have to let me know how it works once you launch. A tiller pilot is next on my list as well.
This one is good for a 10,000 pound boat, we are only 5200 pounds so we shouldn't over power it under normal sailing conditions.
It was actually only $120 we spent sweetheart :)Even better!!!
Wow, you did good,
